Autodesk strives to reduce the environmental footprint of our facilities by designing efficient and sustainable buildings and workspaces, often through the use of our own software. We focus foremost on GHG emissions due to energy use since it has the most significant impact. Autodesk began its switch to green power when we started building our offices to achieve LEED certification in 2008, and we now use local and regional renewable energy globally for all of our offices, datacenters, and our cloud services, purchasing 51,800 MWh in FY2017.
